2014 Dash for disAbilities
Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2014 Dash for disAbilities a success! With the support of our sponsors, volunteers and participants, we raised over $13,000 for The Way Community Day program.
The Dash for disAbilities is an annual event that raises money specifically to support the costs of operation for The Way Community - our day program.
The event consists of a 5K walk, fun run and timed run and takes place at Red Bridge Park in Cicero. The 2015 Dash for disAbilities will be Saturday, May 9th, so mark your calendars!
Team captains are an important part of the Dash and we are successful because of all of their hard work. Our 2014 team captains were:

2013 Dash for disAbilities
2013 Dash for disAbilities raises funds for The Way Community
The gray skies and a brief downpour didn't dampen the spirits of 450 runners, walkers and rollers who gathered at Red Bridge Park in Cicero on Saturday, May 18th to raise money for The Way Community. It was a record setting day with attendance and the amount raised! We are still getting donations in, but the total is over $13,000!
The event is getting larger each year and we want to thank everyone who helped make this great day possible!
RDK Photography took some great photos at the Dash. Visit their website at www.rdkphoto.com and take a look.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Hundreds run, walk and roll at the 2011 Dash for disAbilitiesIt was a spectacle of blue at the Dash for disAbilities 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 21st – a bright blue sky and a sea of participants in blue t-shirts walking and running to benefit The Way day program of Mephibosheth Ministries.
The annual event, in its fifth year, was held at Red Bridge Park in Cicero. “We had a wonderful turnout for the Dash this year. We are so thankful to everyone who participated and volunteered,” said Dash for disAbilities Coordinator Pam Conder. “We also want to thank our sponsors for supporting the Dash,” she said. |
